Easy Armchair - Black Finish

A contemporary handcrafted re-edition of the Easy Armchair, a lounge chair model designed for use in many public buildings in Chandigarh.
Our Easy Armchair re-edition evolved over a couple of iterations. The original pieces we had come across had fully exposed canework knots at the back. Our initial prototypes were made with this design. Subsequently, we developed the more refined version with partially hidden cane-work knots. It has been stained black with an eco-friendly water based paint.
 
Materials Used
Teak (Tectona Grandis) and natural cane.
